Ikebana was founded around the Muromachi period (1333-1573).

You can enjoy sightseeing and eating your way around in a kimono.
Kimono is a traditional Japanese cloth that means a “thing to wear” in Japanese.
Until the Meiji era, when western culture came in, Japanese people wore kimonos, both daily and special clothes.
Today’s kimonos are mainly worn for formal occasions such as weddings and funerals and traditional events such as Sado (Japanese tea ceremony).着物を着て観光や食べ歩きを楽しめます。
着物は「着るもの」という言葉を語源としている、日本の伝統衣装です。
明治時代に西洋の文化が入ってくるまで、日本人は普段着もよそいきも着物でした。
現代では着物は主に結婚式や葬式などのフォーマルな機会と、茶道などの伝統的な行事などの際に着用されるだけです。
